 Valves Home Gas Solenoid Valves Gas EN161 Approved Solenoid Valves.Gas EN161 approved solenoid valves are available in both 2/2 way fail safe closed known as auto reset and manual reset gas solenoid valves requiring a manual reset back into open position are manufactured in sizes ranging from 1/8 to 2" thread and flange DN50 to DN300. It is important to remember that only a Gas Safe Registered engineer can install a gas solenoid valve as the old Gorgi Gas Installers licenses are now invalid. Gas EN161 solenoid valves are designed to offer guaranteed or positive shut off for low pressure mains and town gas systems up to 200 millibar, 360mBar and 6 Bar and must be installed with the coil upright or vertical to enable positive closing or shut off.
