Solenoid Coil Identification Chart

The purpose of a solenoid valve coil is to convert electrical energy into linear motion within the solenoid valve core tube. The electromagnetic coil consists of copper wire (or aluminium wire) wound around a hollow reel or bobin. The thickness of the wire and the number of tuns dictate the applied voltage, current and strength magnetic field generated. When an electrical current is applied if passes through the windings and generates a magnetic field.
Within the core tube of a solenoid valve there is a ferromagnetic core (plunger or armature) made from magnetic grade of stainless steel typically 430F stainless steel which moves towards the magnet when a magnetic field is generated thus revealing a pilot hole or lifting a diaphragm or piston to allow flow through the solenoid valve.
Electrical polarity is not important when using a solenoid valve coil, you can connect AC or DC wires to either of the positive or negative terminals without affecting the performance of the solenoid valve. However it is good engineering practice to connect the earth terminal first to the correct location and the positive wire to terminal 1, negative wire to terminal 2.
Solenoid coil voltages are available for both AC alternating current and DC direct current, although a coil can be made to work with almost any voltage such as,
6 volt DC, 12 volt DC, 24 volt DC, 24 volt AC, 110 volt AC and 230 volt AC.
The advantage of low voltage low wattage coils is primarily energy efficiency, electrical safety, hobbyists and do it your self enthusiasts who often power low power solenoid valves with batteries and wall transformers. Most miniature solenoid valves can be powered by 12 volt 5 watt solenoid valve coils requiring less than 500 milliamp. Always make sure your transformer or power supply meets or exceeds the total power supply requirements of the solenoid valves. 24v AC solenoid valves appeal to many automation control systems and irrigation timer systems. 
Solenoid valve coils manufactured include Shako, Nass Magnet, CS Fluid Power, ERA-SIB, Baccara, Italian manufacturers, Pneumatic coils and many other class F(155C), class H(180C) and class N (200C) CE, UL and ATEX approved solenoid valve coils.
Solenoid valve coil voltages kept in stock 12v, 24v, 48v, 110v, 220v, 230v, 240v, 380v and 415v 50 to 60hz and also 12v, 24v, 48v, 110v and 220vdc. 
It may be that these solenoid coils can be used on another manufacturers solenoid valves however we would recommend that you contact us first to help avoid any potential problems.
